Katrina Durkin has been an attorney with Brothers Henderson Durkin, P.S. since 2014 and became a
shareholder in 2021. Katrina received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and has been
practicing in the wide-ranging areas of disability and elder law and estate planning since graduating from Seattle
University School of Law in 2014.
Katrina’s practice focuses on representing individuals, families, and professionals in a range of complex matters.
These matters include guardianships/conservatorships, estate and trust planning, trust administration, and
settlement planning. She also handles trust and estate disputes , and vulnerable adult proceedings, and related
litigation. Katrina also serves as a settlement guardian ad litem, probate guardian ad litem, and as court visitor
and appointed counsel in guardianships/conservatorship proceedings.
Katrina is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), King County Bar Association (KCBA), and
Tacoma-Pierce Bar Associations. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and its
Washington Chapter (WAELA), the Washington Association for Justice (WSAJ), and Academy of Special Needs
Planners. She volunteers regularly for the KCBA’s Neighborhood Elder Law Clinic and is on the board of the King
County Bar Association Guardianship and Elder Law Section.
While not at work, Katrina enjoys spending her time with her husband, Brian, her two sons, Killian and Brennan,
and her dog, Captain. The Durkin family spends their weekends skiing in the winter and boating in the San Juan
Islands during the summer.
